Breeding & Raising Betta Fry | Separating the Babies

Separating Your Babies

The age to do this can vary enormously.  The earliest we've had to separate fry is 4 weeks and the latest is 3 months.  From our experience the larger the spawn the longer they seem to live in harmony with each other.

Once you start jarring up your males, you will need to do 70% water changes everyday on them to make sure they are in clean water.  The same principals apply as far as water temperature and adding de-chlorinator and you must be able to keep the water temperature constant all the time.
